About Me
Andrea Troyer
I discovered yoga in 2011 when I decided to try out a class at my local gym. As a water polo player and swimmer who had always been extremely active and athletic, I could not understand how people could flow so effortlessly into these complex poses. After that class I decided to stick with other types of workouts, since I couldn’t even touch my toes and didn’t feel I had a “yoga body”. Then, in 2015, I suffered a traumatic loss of a family member. I was diagnosed with anxiety, panic disorder, and PTSD. My doctor suggested I give yoga and meditation a try. I rolled my mat out that day not knowing that yoga was about to change my life. Yoga has brought a strength and inner peace to my mind and body that I never thought was possible. I have since received my 200 hour YTT certification, and have been trained in trapeze yoga. I want everyone to know that if you have a body, you have a “yoga body”! My goal is to spread happiness to my students by helping them connect to their mind, body and soul to find their inner strength and peace.
